Hungry (as always) and bored, we decided to hang out at the Jing'An Kerry centre. It's an upscale mall and they have a lot of restaurants where you can enjoy a meal. Since it was 4PM in the afternoon, we opted for Fat Cat 肥猫甜品, a dessert place.
We were seated in their cute and cozy restaurant where they share their space with a Juice bar. It's a quiet and nice place to hang out. We noticed people with their books and laptop, they even have plugs for you to charge your electronics!
They basically have 2 things on their menu: shaved ice and custard pastry. We ordered one of each.
Although very simple, their shaved ice was one of the best we had! However, keep in mind that we don't eat that very often... It was mango flavoured and topped with custard, grass jelly (our fave!!!) and fresh mangos. DE-LI-CIOUS.
We ordered 2 of their vanilla custard filled stick bread and it was amazing. The bread was crunchy and nutty, while the custard was rich and creamy. They also had a mango filled bread.
Just looking at those pictures... We want more!!! We will definitely be back.
