Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie

Our recipe for today is the creamy, decadent, delicious yet healthy chocolate and peanut butter smoothie! If you haven’t noticed, we’re kinda addicted to smoothies. But this one is a definite must-try. This chocolate milkshake lookalike is not only eye-pleasing and tasty, it’s also entirely made of ingredients high in nutrients which is always a plus!

The actual smoothie is made of ripe bananas, peanut butter, and cocoa powder. If you’re looking for something with a little bit more protein, I’d suggest you add one scoop of chocolate-flavoured whey protein powder into the mix. I did this after my workout the other day and while it’s very filling and a bit heavy, it really does the job in supplying you with all the nutrients you need. If you do decide to add in some why protein, add also a little bit more of milk so that the smoothie doesn’t get too thick.

We’d suggest you add milk gradually to your smoothie as you blend it. We like it not too thick and not too runny. If you like it thicker, don’t put as much milk. If you like it runnier, then add in more milk. You can definitely adjust it to your own taste!

Anyhow, that’s it for today’s recipe folks. We hope you guys like it and definitely give it a try, cause we absolutely loved it!
