This bubble milk tea is creamy, but yet vary flavorful. This is our favorite Taiwanese drink and it’s actually so easy to make at home, and we guarantee it won’t taste diluted like a lot of homemade iced milk tea.
Bring water to a boil in medium pot. Stir in uncooked tapioca pearls and boil on medium heat for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, remove from heat. Drain off the water into a bowl and add 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Transfer the tapioca pearls back into the pot and add in the brown-sugar-water mixture. Cover with a lid and let sit for 30 minutes.
In a large cup, place bags of orange pekoe tea and add in 1 1/2 cups of boiling water. Let the tea seep for about 5 minutes and remove the tea bags. Stir in granulated white sugar and powdered non-dairy creamer. In a shaker, add 1 cup of ice. Add in the tea mixture into the shaker and shake well.
