Ingredients

  • 150 grams strawberries sliced
  • 35 grams granulated sugar
  • 75 ml water
  • 450 ml oat milk

Instructions

  • Heat the sliced strawberries, granulated sugar and water in a small pot over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Let simmer for about 10 minutes while stirring and mixing once in a while, until the mixture reaches a slightly thick, syrup-like consistency. Remove from heat and let cool.
  • Set a fine mesh strainer over a bowl and pour the strawberry mixture onto the strainer. Press the mixture with the back of a spoon against the strainer to squeeze out the most syrup into the bowl. Transfer the remaining strawberry puree on the strainer into another bowl.
  • Pour 450 ml of oat milk into a large glass. Add in the syrup and mix well. To serve, pour half of the strawberry puree into a glass and half of the strawberry milk-syrup mixture and mix well. Pour the rest of the puree and syrup onto another glass. Optionally, you can serve with whipped cream and more strawberries.
