Mango Green Tea

Mango green tea is a refreshing and healthy drink that is a great alternative to any boxed juice. In under 10 minutes, you can serve a delicious summery drink that is perfect for BBQs, picnics, and lunches.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 bags green tea
  • 1 cup Ice cubes
  • mint garnish

Instructions

  • Boil 2 cups of water, and pour over 2 tea bags in a teapot. Let steep for 3 minutes. Remove tea bags and add 1 tbsp of honey. Let tea chill in refrigerator.
  • Peel the mangoes, cube 1 1/2, and chopped in small pieces the other 1/2.
  • To create mango puree, blend the cubed mango in blender, until smooth.
  • For each cup, put equal amount of chopped mango pieces, and mango puree. Add ice, and then pour in 1 cup of tea in each cups. Stir well and adjust sugar level if needed.
