Miso Butter

Miso butter is easily one of the easiest, yet tastiest, flavoring ingredient. The umami flavor from the miso and the richness of the butter make any dish shine.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • 2 tbsp red miso
  • 1/2 tbsp gochujang
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. If ingredients sticks to the side, make sure to scrape and blend again.
  • To freeze, put butter in parchment paper and roll into a log. Alternatively, use ice tray to freeze small portions of miso butter.
