    Apple Cinnamon Protein Smoothie Bowl

Today is Friday! And you know what that means: Fit Friday! Yup, we decided to do a little blog series where we're basically gonna share with you some healthy recipes every Friday. So if you're into that kind of stuff, then stay tuned and feel free to subscribe to get email notifications whenever a new blog post is up 🙂

For our first #FitFriday post, we wanted to something simple but full of nutritious ingredients. This apple cinnamon protein smoothie bowl literally took 5 minutes to make and it is YUM. We have this newfound obsession with smoothie bowls, and this one pretty much confirms it.

This smoothie contains apples, bananas, cinnamon, unsweetened soy milk, and some honey. Only the good stuff for you! Note that the amount of milk that we suggested to put in is according to our own preferences. If you prefer it to be runnier, then add more milk, and vice versa. Just remember that apples contain a lot of juice in them, so you might want to adjust the amount of milk accordingly too. It's also important to use very ripe bananas to get that sweet flavour in the smoothie, otherwise you might have to add more honey.

We tried out this new technique we saw on YouTube to decorate the smoothie bowl. We're still newbies, so it's definitely not perfect. But we're pretty happy how it turned out. What we did is we made some chocolate sauce and we tried to make some cool patterns with it on the surface of the smoothie bowl. Let us know if you want a post on how to do this kind of smoothie bowl art and if you want the recipe for the chocolate sauce. We're definitely gonna practice some more to make it look perfect, but for now we're pretty happy with it.

That's it for our #FitFriday post folks, if you want other smoothie bowl recipes, make sure to check out our Mango Smoothie Bowl and Green Smoothie Bowl recipes. We hope you enjoy all this healthy, yummy goodness and happy eating!
